1. Introduction

1.1 These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your use of the online and mobile services (“Services”) provided by DVX ZUMI UK LIMITED (“Zumi”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). These Terms apply to the digital services offered through our in‐restaurant platform, which integrates  third-party providers for booking and payment processing.
1.2 By accessing or using our Services, including the in‐restaurant platform, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our Services.
1.3 [Amendment] These Terms supplement, but do not replace, any agreements between Zumi and restaurant partners. For matters relating to your dining experience (e.g. reservation accuracy, payment disputes, or service quality), the restaurant is responsible for resolving any issues.

2. Definitions

For the purposes of these Terms, the following definitions apply:

  • User: Any individual who accesses or uses the Services.
  • Restaurant: The dining establishment partners with Zumi and utilises the in‐restaurant platform. The Restaurant is responsible for managing reservations, processing payments, and resolving disputes arising from your dining experience.
  • Reservation Information: Details collected from your booking with the Restaurant (such as name, contact information, dietary requirements, and other preferences).
  • Payment Processor: The secure third-party service (facilitated through A third-party provider) that handles financial transactions.
  • A third-party provider: The in-house booking and payment system integrated with the in‐restaurant platform to manage reservations and process payments.
  • In‐Restaurant Platform: The digital platform Zumi provides for customers dining at participating Restaurants, enabling live bill viewing, payment processing, and other related services.

3. Acceptance of Terms

3.1 By using any feature of the Services—including making a reservation, accessing live billing, or processing payment via the in‐restaurant platform—you accept these Terms and agree to comply with all applicable local, national, and international laws.

4. The Zumi Services

4.1 Reservation and Payment Services:
The Services enable you to, view a live bill, and process payments via an integration with A third-party provider.

4.2 Service Scope:
Zumi provides the digital platform and tools for these services. However, the Restaurant's responsibility is the operational management—including the accuracy of reservation details, the quality of the dining experience, and the resolution of any disputes.

4.3 Restaurant Data:
Zumi does not independently verify or guarantee the accuracy of any data provided by the Restaurant. Any concerns regarding the Restaurant’s information should be raised directly with the Restaurant.

5. Use of the In‐Restaurant Platform

5.1 User Obligations:

  • You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information when required (e.g.
  • You shall use the Services solely for their intended purpose and in accordance with these Terms.
  • You must not interfere with or disrupt the proper functioning of the Services. 5.2 Account and Data Security:
    You are responsible for safeguarding any Zumi employs industry-standard security measures, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Integration with A third-party provider

6.1 Payment Processing:
PA third-party provider’s system. Zumi facilitates this integration; however, A third-party provider (via the designated Payment Processor) exclusively handles payment processing.

6.2 Data Sharing:
Information necessary for reservation management and payment processing is shared with A third-party provider and the Restaurant. Please refer to the applicable privacy policies for details on how these third parties handle your data.

7. Payment Terms and Dispute Resolution

7.1 Payment Processing:
Payments processed via the in‐restaurant platform are handled securely by the Payment Processor through a third-party provider. Zumi does not store your payment card details.

7.2 Dispute Resolution:

  • Restaurant Responsibility: Any disputes regarding reservation details, billing, payment discrepancies, or overall dining experience must be resolved directly with the Restaurant.
  • Zumi’s Role: Zumi’s involvement is limited to providing the digital platform. We are not responsible for resolving disputes arising from the operational or service aspects managed by the Restaurant or A third-party provider.
  • Should you experience an issue, please get in touch with the restaurant first to resolve it.

8. Limitation of Liability

8.1 Zumi’s Liability:
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zumi shall not be liable for any errors, delays, or disruptions in the provision of the Services, including issues related to reservations or payment processing.

8.2 Exclusion of Restaurant-Related Issues:
Zumi is not liable for any inaccuracies, disputes, or deficiencies arising from the Restaurant’s data, management of reservations, or payment processing. Any such matters remain solely the responsibility of the Restaurant (and, where applicable, A third-party provider ).

8.3 Indirect Damages:
Neither Zumi nor its affiliates shall be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the Services.

9. Consumer Rights

You retain all rights under applicable consumer protection laws. This includes the right to clear and accurate information about your reservation and payment. If you require assistance or wish to raise a complaint regarding your dining experience, please contact the Restaurant directly.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes that are not resolved directly between you and the Restaurant shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Amendments

Zumi reserves the right to update or modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be posted on the Services, and your continued use of the Services after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
